No, I don’t think it had anything to do with my pencils, because I tried several different types and brands. I wouldn’t go for the single MAC sharpener either – I just think they’re cheap crap, to be honest. I am using the NYX sharpener now and I LOVE it. It’s big enough to do my jumbo eye pencils, and most won’t sharpen those, and it’s makes a perfect point without any of the issues I had with the MAC one. Can’t beat the price either – NYX Sharpener on Cherry Culture

I’m so gald you posted all of this!! I was thinking of buying the mac sharpener dual. But i’m wondering do you think its because of the type of eye pencils you were using? I’m currently looking for a new eye pencil sharpener, do you think you know if the other mac sharpener with the small hole has the same sort of problems? Or if you can suggest any good sharpeners to me?? Thnx
