My name is Amy.  I’m a 27 year old free-lance makeup artist who originally grew up in South Carolina.  I moved to New Jersey a few years ago.  I’ve had an intense fascination with beauty since I was a young girl.  I studied models’ faces in magazines and would spend half an hour in the cosmetics aisles in drugstores every time I was there.  About 5 years ago I made the decision to focus my passion for beauty into educating myself about makeup technique and application.  I owe my efforts to self-education, inspiration from fellow bloggers, and tutorials on YouTube, which have been an immense resource.  I have a strong desire to bring my skills to a professional level and try new things creatively.
